I started out as a fiber artist, weaving fabric for prayer shawls. Along the way I have been exploring a variety of mediums and subject matter at Lake Tahoe Community College. From life drawing to watercolor, I find studying in a college setting challenging and rewarding. Not only do the teachers inspire me, the young talented students also influence my approach to art. Over the past several years, I have received recognition for my work in the College Student Art Exhibit.
While I enjoy oil and watercolor painting, it is drawing that helps me capture everyday objects, people and natural scenes that I will someday be incorporating into my fiber art.
